KS EXPATS : DJ MONDEE RUNS BERLIN
You might remember Boundless NY Presents: The Ghostface Mixtape that Dj Teddy King and Mondee blessed you with a few months ago.
Well Mondee has defected to Germany to stack Euros, make music and sip apple juice with the likes of Mariah Carey.
Brooklyn Radio just put up this mix that he laid down this week, and of course its ridiculous. Mondee will keep your head nodding and checking the track list the entire mix.
Check the write up from Brooklyn Radio Dot Net below…Global Super Powers… WHATTTTTTTT??!
BROOKLYN RADIO : SELECT SESSIONS WITH MONDEE AND MARIAH
This week on Select Sessions, we roll out to Berlin and bring you hip-hop expatriate Mondee. A producer and DJ, you can hear his beats under MCs Raekwon, Inspectah Deck, Cappadonna, Styles P, Cassidy, Cage, Tame One, Yak, Slug, Planet Asia, and more. In this mix, he rolls with Mariah from an unknown bunker in the Blitz. He came to our attention through Brooklyn Radio’s gutter hip-hop sage, Mandean, who filled us in more with more details:
Mondee may be the greatest DJ in the world. His unstoppable career began in New Jersey at the age of 10 when his mom, not being aware of the impact, bought him turntables for Christmas. This changed his life. From then on he would distribute fresh mixes that were always sure to offend someone. He’s also made beats for some of your favorite rappers and is addicted to chicken and peach iced tea. In his spare time, Mondee hangs out with celebrities like James Earl Jones and Nelson Ned. He has lived all over the world, from New York to London to Transylvania, and rumor has it he may be currently residing in Boogie Down Berlin. However, his superpowers are global so it doesn’t matter from where he strikes. BEWARE. You can follow his mission here: Twitter.com/mondee. And here: Facebook.com/djmondee.
