THEY SHOOTING...
AN OPINION BY A.H. Who can be reached Here
Its been 1 Year since this.
Trust me, we are not headed for better times. This month alone the NYPD has been busy shooting murdering people.
Kheil Coppin
the child armed with a hair brush…
David Kostovski
man armed with half of a broken bottle.
I understand that being a police officer takes a certain type of personality. I also understand that under times of extreme stress, people react the exact opposite of how they were trained. The main problem that is often overlooked is this…
After it’s all over, if you live through getting shot 50 times , IT’S STILL YOUR WORD AGAINST THEIRS . Who do you think is going to win in court? When does this type of agressive, nonsensical behavior stop?
The Police are a gang. A gang with a bank roll funded by our taxes. Never forget that SCARY fact. We need to cut through all the Bull Shit that clouds this. It is an issue that crosses all demographics .
Shooting unarmed citizens is MURDER!!!!
This issue is something that should hit close to home. These are our streets. The next time the NYPD murders someone first and asks questions later, we need to get up, get out and hold them accountable.
NYPD, STOP SHOOTING UNARMED NEW YORKERS!!!!
The officers killers who murked Sean Bell go to court at the end of February. I don’t expect to see them serve a day in the jails that they are paid to fill.
And that my dudes, is the real problem.

FREE NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS
This Thanksgiving weekend I wanted to give back to something that normally goes neglected.
Dear Drunk Dialing.
Thank you for another great year. Thank you for making me the only one that doesn’t remember the extent of your late night giving. Drunk Dialing without you, I would not be able to fully communicate my wide range of emotions; I would be a shell of a man. I just wanted you to know, I appreciate all the great memories you have kept from me and I look forward to continuing this wonderful partnership. Have a safe Holiday dear old friend.
Best,
A. H.

JAY LOVE JAPAN...
Jay Love Japan- Light Speed Intro
Its been out on itunes since Nov. 5th and I really don’t know what to say. I will have to give it a thorough listen over the long holiday weekend. Here is a recap of the latest release by Jay Dee from our friends at Oh Word
Jay Love Japan isn’t any more complete than it’s predecessors, but it’s still the most satisfying and knock ready of the final three projects Jay undertook. The album doesn’t feature Jay on the mic, but boasts his best production in a minute. No Sp303 grime and no neo-soul shimmer, Dilla instead mixes some choice samples (including a personal favorite from 100% Pure Poison’s album) and bouncy synths for some of his catchiest stuff in a minute. While not exactly falling into pop territory, all of them have a spacey, ethereal bump that was lacking from his recent releases.
It’s not perfect, at 22 minutes it’ll leave you wanting more and a couple of instrumental and skit tracks could have used some rhymes but it’s hard to front on the project’s sheer playability: pop it in and you’ll probably be bumping back to back listens. I’ll be picking this one up, although hopefully the liner notes and packaging explain exactly why Jay Loves Japan. I’m as confused by the album title as you are.

Boundless NY Movie Reviews Presents: THEY LIVE

Breakdown:
They Live is a 1988 film directed by John Carpenter, who also wrote the screenplay under the pseudonym “Frank Armitage”. The movie is based on Ray Nelson’s 1963 short story Eight O’Clock in the Morning.
Part science fiction thriller and part black comedy, the plot deals satirically with the perceived notion of a declining economy, within a culture of greed and conspicuous consumption commonly associated with the 1980s. It posits a world in which some of the monied elite are actually aliens oppressing the poverty-stricken lower classes through subliminal media advertising.
This has been one of my favorite movies for the longest time. Rowdy Roddy Piper, Keith David, a 6 minute fist fight scene… this is a classic.
Even more important is the fact that this John Carpenter movie still hits a little too close to home. If you haven’t seen it, please note while you are watching, that this movie has served as inspiration for more than a few street wear brands.
This isn’t a movie that your girl is going to like cuddling up on the couch to… this is the movie you make her watch with you. This is the payback movie for making you sit through all those Jennifer Aniston romantic comedies.
To me this is the type of movie that you need on heavy rotation. This movie reminds me that it is a daily struggle to stay creative and keep things fresh. Don’t let the blood sucking robot yuppies drain out that creativity. Don’t become one of them. Selling out for the money is cool, but around here, we start to question the credibility if its not done right.
Moral of this story: Don’t end up High and dry like a Snob, wondering where your Karma will Loop you next because it’ll leave you with a New York Neck Tie round here
