I slack on the major holiday gift giving, most people just received their holiday presents from me last week. They were good, but who has time to get all that stuff together and out by the end of December?

I got this late Christmas Gift in CD form last night. My metal knowledge is still in its infancy but I’ve been recently getting some tutoring via Professor Wild Turkey over at The Raccoon Lodge on Warren Street.

TK: Lesson 1 was the first thing I ever bought from Fat Beats NYC. I remember driving into the city with two of my friends and not even getting out of the car. My friend said what do you want the Company Flow album or the Stretch Mix. Of course I went with the Stretch mix.

Most of these songs on this mix I loved so much that it got me to start buying records. The majority of these artists music was only available on wax. So that’s how I got into Hip Hop.

Before I even was djing, I was just buying some great indi hip hop on wax and lounging out at home vibing to it. Just buying records non-stop and going to Fat Beats and Bobbitos Foot Works all the time… at least once a week.

I was buying all the songs that I heard Stretch & Bobbito play on their radio show. And the rest is history…

I’ve been djing now for 13 years and it became a huge part of my life. I want to thank Stretch & Bobbito for inspiring to learn how to DJ and getting me into Hip Hop music!

Just ordered the Diptyque Figuier Candle & This Dope Throw Pillow by Pendleton. Some solid craftsmanship indeed. The candle last up to 80 hours, it’s definitely pricy ($60) but the smell is amazing. The Pillow is gonna turn my room to life with its sunset infused color pattern. Beautiful !

Its been over 1 year since the Boundless Radio Show on East Village Radio went off the air. DJ Teddy King has been hustling and we’ve been wearing out the Boundless Radio Archives and slowly releasing some ill mixtapes for you.

But we’ve heard the requests and have been plotting the best way to bring your favorite music and dj’s back on the air. And it must be your lucky day, because the stars have aligned and Boundless Radio is BACK!!!
