Many a successful man develops a passion for which he has no natural aptitude, but few ever take it so far as did Dutch real estate magnate Teddy Yip. A millionaire and avid amateur races, Yip decided to personally fund his own Formula One team in the early 70's. Theodore Racing was born in 1976, and entered its first car in the F1 circuit in 1977.
In all, Theodore Racing put a car on the track in 5 different F1 seasons and amassed a grand total of two championship points. Yip commissioned four cars to be built Theodore during this period- though expensive, none of them were any good. On this t-shirt, we proudly present to you the original Theodore Racing logo in all its hubristic glory, as a reminder that if you make enough money in this life, you're free to do whatever your heart desires. And suck at it.
