JUST ANOTHER DAY...
To commemorate our 3 Year Brooklyn Store Anniversary, we bring you a peek around our neighborhood – Willamsburg, Brooklyn.
We realize that a huge part of our loyal following have never been able to step foot inside Boundless. So we got the Usual Suspects together and shot a little video. Giving everyone that isn’t able to make it to the brick and mortar shop in Brooklyn a vibes check.
We start with a shot from the top of our building, giving you a look at Midtown and the Manhattan Skyline, continuing with our local kids heading toward Boundless down the Williamsburg Bridge.
The Williamsburg Bridge takes you from Delancey Street in Manhattan, to the Continental Army Plaza on Roebling Street in Brooklyn. Its the gateway to The County of Kings – and Boundless NY.
Come follow us through a day in Boundless’ neighborhood – Brooklyn, NY 11211.
Video was shot and directed by the homie Kellen Dengler.

FRIDAYS AT BOUNDLESS :: TES UNO
Tes Uno holding court behind the counter on Friday at Boundless
Yeah its Monday. Its 30 degrees in NY right now. I can’t feel my face/toes/uvula in this kind of weather. Give me 90% humidity inside the hot NYC summer oven all day over this cold shit.
At least you can see the ladies on the streets. Right now, I get all excited over a cute face and what may or may not be some serious love handles under that bubble goose.
Gabe about to set someone up with a new complete, from the only store worth shopping at, Boundless NY!! Remember don’t skate the monument if you can’t clap for him and his brother.
Tes Uno knows the only cure for the winter cold is 26+ straight days of rapping.
He’s releasing a new unheard track everyday on TesUno.Tumblr.com.
I caught him in the act with the usual Boundless Family Lurkers last Friday.
Tes has some big things unfolding in the next few months.

Brooklyn to Queens.
Hey, Don’t hate!
I have a love hate relationship with these devices. At least mine makes a camera snapshot sound effect when it detects a camera in a street light. You wouldn’t even believe how many cameras are in NYC alone. Remember big brother is always watching.

"MONEY, POWER & RESPECT" vs. "MONEY, CASH, HOES"
From Loosie.com Written by Gabe D. | 2005.05.01
A little bit of a throwback for this edition…but really, this age-old debate is always on time.
The eponymous song spells it out pretty clearly: Money, Power & Respect are “what you need in life”. It will also “help you sleep at night”, “make you see the light” and, in a remixed version, may even “give the gift of flight” or “soothe your insect bites”. The sky’s the limit, really. This message was quite persuasive in musical form, from Lil Kim channeling Scarface in the intro to the irritatingly catchy (yet still enjoyable) sample. Plus, it featured the Lox in their shiny-suits-and-large-sunglasses phase. DMX was also notable for a stirring guest appearance, shortly before he completed his regrettable transformation into a half-man, half-dog, homo-thug caricature.
Jay-Z’s “Money, Cash, Hoes”
While some might claim that the stated need for both money and cash is somewhat redundant, in actuality it is important to possess both solid financial assets (“money”), and liquid assets (“cash”). Hovito’s song and concept are a veritable financial planning seminar, emphasizing the need to diversify one’s portfolio, as well as the ever-pressing need for hoes. While the Money, Power, and Respect route will lead women to flock to you eventually, why not just skip the rather tedious accumulation of those things and move directly to hoes? I mean who’s more interesting really: Pimpin’ Ken, or Warren Buffet? If only the American public could learn this lesson…well, the economy would probably go belly-up, so perhaps it’s just as well. We estimate a song like “We Luv Deez Hoes” would probably be a better vehicle for such a message. Or, in a sweet twist of fate, “Bitch Betta Have My Money”. Also of note, “Money, Cash, Hoes” includes another guest turn from DMX, though Jay didn’t really need the canine-collaborator’s assist. However, Dark Man X did contribute the extremely memorable “D-M-X and my dogs bite/ Jigga my nigga, rhyme all…night”, which actually sounds cool and ridiculous at the same time.
Nostalgia. That’s right, our well-documented predilection for a time in the not-too distant past when men were men, East Williamsburg* was Bushwick, and the East Coast Hip-Hop aesthetic reigned supreme (well…semi-supreme) rears its ugly head once again. Not that this was some sort of “golden age” or anything close to it, but it was still something, damnit.
* That’s the last time we’ll ever use the phrase “East Williamsburg”. We promise.
